Apache Tears stones are rich in legend and powerful in relieving grief and emotional distress.
Native lore says that 75 Apache warriors were murdered on the cliff of Big Pacacho Mountain in Arizona during a battle when our great land was being conquered by settlers. It is said that the tears of the grieving Apache women who went to the mountain to mourn their husbands, brothers and sons are trapped inside these stones.
Apache Tears are also good for grounding and are often used for psychic protection.
These Apache Tears were mined in Arizona. What's really cool about these stones is that they are naturally sort of tear drop shaped. They look opaque black, however, hold it up to the light and they are translucent gray.
With this listing you'll get ONE piece of large size tumbled Apache Tears (approx. 1" long) that I'll intuitively choose for you out of my collection. Sizes and color combinations naturally vary among the stones.
Your Apache Tears stone will come in an organza gift bag with a white sage leaf and instructions for cleansing and charging your stone. I use running water, white sage, sunlight & moonlight to charge all of my stones before offering them to you - but you'll want to conduct your own cleansing and charging rituals from time to time as well.
